NO OBLIGATION TO ENROLL

Medicare Supplement insurance, also known as Medigap, helps pay for costs that Medicare Plan A and Plan B don't cover. Before beneficiaries can purchase Medicare Supplement insurance, they must already be enrolled in Original Medicare. Also, those interested in purchasing Medicare Supplement insurance cannot have a Medicare Advantage plan.

Medicare Supplement insurance is sold by private insurance providers like Humana, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, HealthNet, and more. These personal insurance policies must adhere to federal and state regulations in most states. There are ten standardized Medicare Supplement insurance plans to choose from within most states.

Beneficiaries must pay an additional monthly premium as well as the premium on Medicare Plan B. Unlike many health care policies that offer family coverage; Medicare Supplement insurance only covers one individual per policy. Therefore, if a married couple wants Medigap coverage, both spouses must purchase a policy. If you're interested in learning more about Medicare Supplement Insurance, please contact one of our licensed insurance agents. Let our trained professionals help you choose the right policy for you.
